Funeral Director

Lisa DeAngelis is a graduate from Richards High School in Oak Lawn, Class of '85, and a Graduate from Worsham College of Mortuary Science, Class of '88. Lisa has been a licensed Funeral Director, Embalmer, Restorative Artist and Cosmetologist for 23 years. Lisa was born and raised in the funeral industry, getting her start by working with her grandfather Nicholas W. Loschetter, a legendary south side Chicago funeral director whose reputation as a perfectionist was rivaled only by his dedication to grieving families at Heinen and Loschetter Funeral Home, and she wanted to follow in his footsteps. Lisa is a member of the FDSA, CCFDA and OMEGA. Lisa takes much pride when it comes to taking care of families and their loved ones. Lisa is a member of St. Stephen Deacon Martyr Church of Tinley Park, where she to resides with her husband Rudy of 25 years and their three children.

Rick Serrano grew up in Grant City, Illinois next to St. Louis, where he attended high school. Then he went to the Southern University of Illinois in Evanston, Illinois and later served in the Army’s Special Forces for 27 years, where he was given the Legion of Merit Award. He serves his community as a member of the Knights of Columbus, Masons, VFW, American Legion, Am Vets, DAV, and the Eagles.

Married to Sharon, he and his wife share four daughters, two sons and three grandchildren. When he’s not running in marathons, you’ll find him scuba diving, with his stamp or coin collection, or taking a Caribbean Cruise with Sharon.

Loving Memorial Care Pet Undertaker

Michele, a 40-plus-year resident of Park Forest, attended Rich East High School and Prairie State College. She retired after 24 years with Dominick's Finer Foods and was looking for an opportunity to be of service to the world. She found it at Lain-Sullivan and Hirsch Funeral Home 12 years ago.   Michele is a certified Crematory Operator and the founder of Loving Memorial Pet Care in conjunction with Lain-Sullivan Funeral Home & Crematory, where pets are provided honest, ethical and compassionate death care.

Giving back to her community has become an important part of her life. She is a member of the South Suburban Food Co-op, serves as a Village Hearing Officer, previously serving on the board of the Police and Fire Commission, is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Park Forest and helps to coordinate their fabulous Panake Day fundraiser every year, and was a former Board Member of the Tall Grass Arts Association. She also volunteers at P.A.D.s for the homeless, and, of course, volunteers for many pet rescue organizations.  

Married to Phil Knight, she loves animals, particularly her two dogs, Bowrinkle and Cinderella.

After completion of his formal education and military service, Wally joined his two brothers in founding RAECO, Inc., marketing environmental and industrial instrumentation to the Midwest states. They obtained national status and recognition as a major sales organization for industrial hygiene and air quality instrumentation as well as industrial measurement for temperature, flow, level and pressure. In addition, Wally served on numerous professional and community organization boards including Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce and The Cancer Support Center serving the south and west Chicago suburbs.

Now retired, Wally is actively involved in his hobby of collecting antique autos and serving on Crete Township planning board and as a trustee for his local fire protection district. He and his wife Katherine have resided in Crete for the last 33 years, spending winter months in their home in Arizona and time with their out-of-state children and their families.
